What to expect

When to expect it

I reject the standard that has been set in our attention economy where audiences and algorithms drive creators to create and publish content on a schedule (daily, weekly, or monthly). This leads to people publishing content not because they have something important to say, but because they need to “show up” in the social feeds or inboxes of their audience to remain relevant. It makes the art worse. In the process, creators turn themselves into media companies that publish simply because if they don’t grab that attention, people will go elsewhere to spend it.

I won’t publish an essay or idea every week, or even every month. There is no set schedule.

I’ll only ask for your attention when I feel I have something meaningful to say, that I think will be worth your time to read.
